Endowment Funds
By investing in an endowment fund, you can create a legacy for a friend,
family member or colleague while providing sustainable funding for programs or scholarships.
Only the earnings from the fund are spent on designated purposes - your original
contribution is held in perpetuity. Your name lives on with the gift forever, and you help ensure the
continued success of the Foundation in years to come.
In June 2001, the Foundation announced the establishment of the Free Clinic
Endowment Fund and a General Endowment Fund. The General Endowment Fund was established for all gifts that are intended for endowment but non-directed by a donor. A minimum gift of $25,000 is required to direct an endowment gift to a certain area of interest. A minimum gift of $50,000 is required for the donor to name the endowment.
A donor who makes a gift at the $25,000 or $50,000 level would not only be
recognized as an Endowment contributor, but also as a
Warren Society General’s Circle member at the Two
Star or Three Star General level.
